The Mean Queen

About:  As a former competitive figure skater and a former skating coach, I was drawn to roller derby in order to keep skating but in a more collaborative format. Roller derby allows me to use my strategic planning skills and bossy demeanor for the good of the team. I love the challenge of supporting players to do their best and the challenge of trying to get into the other team's head. When I'm not trackside I'm teaching anatomy, reading voraciously, or chasing around two raucous children. 

Preferred Position: Coaching

Why you love being a RD: Besides the fact that my big sister is on the team, the Res Dolls are the friendliest, hardest working, most committed skaters in the league. I'm constantly impressed by their desire to lift each other up.
